A new project, so very small...

I have nothing really to show you but a few bits and pieces and a booklet. The reason I do show you, is because I am afraid I will chicken out once I started building because this project is so small and I have never built anything smaller than 1" scale (1:12). These are the parts the Petite Properties kit 'The Corner Shop' consists out, it is 1/4" scale (1:48) and I am starting with this today:

    I know you can do it Chris. It's really fun to contribute so much to the structure yourself instead of having it all there for you - I'll follow your progress with great interest.

    over een tijdje gaan wij met de poppenhuisclub hier in Drachten een aantal van deze huisjes bestellen...ik heb er zo'n zin in om er mee bezig te gaan :-)

    I have finally finished the flooring of the ground floor (making tiny tiles with DAS clay), I had to try three (!) times before I got it right. Today I am making floor boards with paper and I am hoping this will be easier VBG

    Margriet, ik ben heel benieuwd naar jullie huisjes. Het is erg leuk om te doen maar de schaal valt echt wel tegen als je dat niet gewend bent (ik had ook nog nooit iets op 1:24 gemaakt).

    Ik heb nog een 1:144 huisje liggen...anders ga ik dat wel eerst maken...dan valt 1:48 vast enorm mee LOL

    Je kunt het Chris, eerlijk! Ik heb alleen Flowerpot gemaakt ( 1/48 is ook niet zo mijn ding), maar het bouwen van die huisjes is heel leuk werk en misschien val ik nog wel eens voor een van de andere huisjes van Bea :-)
    PS vergeet alleen niet de onderdelen steeds eerst beiderzijds te coaten met gesso of grondverf of zoiets, voordat de boel krom trekt.

    Hoi Elly (en welkom op mijn blog), het lukt ook wel en het is nog heel leuk om te doen ook :-). Ik heb sinds een paar dagen zelfs twee vloertjes klaar maar omdat er eentje krom getrokken was ligt het al een paar dagen onder een tegel om weer recht te trekken. Morgen laat ik foto's zien. Goed dat je schrijft beide zijden te coaten, dat moet ik inderdaad niet vergeten.
